Audrey and I had some fun snuggling in bed the other day. She's really into making wet razzing noises right now, I think because a tooth is coming in. I know I've been saying this for a couple of months, but this time I swear I can see a tooth peeking through her gums. So stay tuned!

I Can Do That
For a few weeks now, Audrey has been grabbing for her bottle. This weekend, she was able to hold it up by herself. She can't do it from start to finish, but I love seeing her assert some independence.

Rolling Over Take Two
Earlier this week Audrey rolled over from her back to her stomach for the first time. It caught me a little by surprise. Today when I saw she had rolled onto her side, I grabbed the camera hoping she would complete the rollover. She did not disappoint!

Reaching for Things
It seemed to take forever for Audrey to be able to put her arms out in front of her rather than sitting spread-eagled, leaning toward things, so I'm getting a kick out of seeing her actually reaching and grabbing. She also just started rolling over from her back to her stomach--so she's rolled over both ways now.

We're Back and Audrey's 4 Months Old!
Audrey had her 4-month old check up today, along with the vaccines. She only cried a little bit at the shots, and the doctor said she is in perfect health. Way to go Audrey!! She's been changing so much over the last few weeks--reaching for things, throwing her body around, noticing and smiling at the dogs, constantly chewing and sucking on her fingers, laughing, and sleeping through the night (about half the time anyway). She's also adjusted wonderfully to her mother going back to work (part time) and staying with a babysitter 3 days out of the week.
Audrey now weighs 14 lbs. 4 oz, doubling her weight in 4 months. She also measures 26 inches, the average length of a 7 month old, according to her doctor. We are so thankful for a happy, healthy little girl.

Technical Difficulties
Just a quick note to say our laptop cord has fried, so we've been unable to do any blog posting the last few days and it will probably be another week before we receive our replacement. So no Audrey pictures or video for a few days more. Sorry guys!
