Weekend at Grandma Butter and Grandpa's house!

Audrey got to spend some time this weekend with Shannon's folks. As I feel these pictures cleary show, she had a great tiime!!!

Audrey = Awesome

Audrey loves forts, whatever they may be constructed of. Shannon and I made an impromptu fort the other day, and she loved it. Forts also tend to be a great spot to catch up on your reading as well.

Fun With Flashlight

Audrey is at an age when she gets so excited for certain things in life, like a flashlight or the Christmas tree. On the flip side, she can show the same passion for things she is NOT thrilled about. But, the happy moments far outweigh the hissy-fits.

Children's Museum

Today our little family went to the Naperville Children's museum. Audrey had a blast running around and getting into everything. She also made a few frinds while she was there.

Audrey is always eager to help. When I was raking leaves the other night she was at the window clammering to come out. As you can see she was quite the helper!

bacon and eggs rule!

Shannon told me i could sleep in this morning but I couldn't get out of bed fast enough to try and make Shannon and Audrey bacon and eggs. They both chowed down! First pic is Audrey coloring. She kicks tushy.

I Did It!

Audrey loves buckling herself into her booster seat and can spend half an hour buckling it over and over again. We're working on unbuckling, but I have problems with that myself--it's a testy buckle! Tonight she started saying "I did it!" It doesn't come out completely clear, but it was sweet, nonetheless.

Friday Off With Daddy

I love when I have Fridays off so I can hang out with Audrey. Today we went shopping, had a bath(her), ate Mexican food, and altogether lounged. Audrey is so goshdarn fun right now I almost can't explain it!

31 Weeks

Mike and I got some face time with our son during an ultrasound today. It was a simple 2-D ultrasound, but it took my breath away when the technician showed us our baby's face. He was facing the "camera" perfectly, so we got some great glimpses, from his eyes to his cheeks to his lips to his cute little chin. We could even tell when his eyes were open and closed.

The technician said everything looks great in there and that our boy was very photogenic :-) His head is down, and everything is where it's supposed to be. He's measuring nice and healthy at approximately 4 lbs. 3 oz. Of course, the accuracy of these measurements are suspect.

The rest of my doctor's appointment went well. I've been feeling great--just uncomfortable and tired in the evenings.
